Watchin that DMX behind the music makes me think of how little artists are putting into their music these days. He gave, along side his club hits, a real personal and intimate look into who he is and how he is feeling personally. He showed everything. From his family life to his personal problems to his fears, dreams and beliefs. He lived his life through the music (i think thats worded the correct way haha). Todays artists *rappers * (as i said before) are making their art as if there is no true feeling or emotion behind it. As if the talent and connection w/ ones self and their art holds no emotional or sentimental value. The commercial aspect has taken over so much that the art (created) is of vanity.
