I guess some of you already heard the new Crookers’ songs by now. I’m really in love with all of them. Today, I will talk to you about this new song with Rye Rye. I guess I love it a little more than the others as I was missing her a lot. It’s always good to hear her fast rap flow on an electro/hip hop beat. The song is named Hip Hop Changed. I guess it’s true, but as Rye Rye says it herself : “it’s just another twist in the shit that we bring”. Music now gets influenced by so much styles and cultures that it definitely brings a new experience to the listener. Enjoy.

Definitely my FAVORITE new band, The Xx have been mashed up with legends Notorious BIG and Tupac. Quix & Elliot mixed this one. It seemed to be live due to the scratching and need of pitch correction on Tupac's verse. Regardless its still a good listen for me and those who are diverse in their music. Enjoy!

The Mickey Factz's "Alpha" is now available for purchase on iTunes. If you fuggin w/ Mickey then you already know how much we have received through his career. I remember a couple of shows I've done where he's headlined and some others that I just attended. He's a really humble talent that's doing it for his ppl. Show your support. Enjoy!
On Feb 26 'GO! presented Wiz Khalifa 'Deal or No Deal' Tour date in Chicago @ Abbey Pub. The night was sold out and a great time. Had a good time and met the tour team. Big ups to Wiz, UGod, Jasmine Solano, Will, Big homie who didnt say two words but was scaring ppl w/ his bodyguard role and everybody who showed up. Was a great time. One lucky guy (who was crowdsurfing) got pulled on stage by Wiz and that probably made his entire year. Enjoy!

The new Gorillaz LP, Plastic Beach, is out March 9 on Virgin-- it's streaming in its entirety right now on NPR-- and here's the first music video from the record. The member-animated "Stylo" clip finds the Gorillaz members in a classic car chase across the desert. Badass-for-hire Bruce Willis is chasing them.

Personally, I think some of these guys definitely CANT be freshmen as they have had major things popping already and already have a huge name. But ,here we go.
The wait is finally over: XXL magazine has revealed its "10 Freshmen for 2010," for which the publication has chosen a motley crew of MCs from across the U.S.
Representing the West Coast you have Nipsey Hussle, Jay Rock and Fashawn. O.J. Da Juiceman, Pill and Donnis are holding it down for Atlanta. North Carolina native J. Cole also made the cut, as did Pittsburgh's Wiz Khalifah. The Midwest's own Big Sean (Detroit) and Freddie Gibbs (Gary, Indiana) round out the roster.

"It's always interesting to assemble the guys, because you don't know what kind of vibe you're gonna get," XXL Editor in Chief Vanessa Satten told MTV News about the photo shoot a few weeks ago. "The first [class in 2008], they were kinda brooding. They were kind of boring on the actual shoot. The second one, they were exciting. This year, we didn't know what to expect from them, because the first two [classes] were so opposite of each other. You never know what you can expect when you get those 10 rappers together. It could be pretty much anything.
"You're not dealing with divas like you normally do with a bigger cover," she added. "But at the same time, you're dealing with people who've got these insecurities, who are not used to the situation and not as recognizable. You gotta get them to be a bit more animated and be a little bit more interesting so the photos could be spectacular. It's a little different when you put a bigger star on the cover.
"Last year, in general, the class was more Internet-driven," she said. "It was kind of a different class. The office would make fun — it was more of a nerdy class. The rappers involved might get offended by that, but it was definitely to the direction of the Internet audience, the Internet rappers. This [new] class is a mix of that and a little bit more street. And more of hodgepodge."
